My stay at the hotel was simply amazing. The hotel's location is outstanding, with magnificent views and easy access to the trail to Vernazza. The rooms are really dated, with a grim bathroom and no view, which my wife found immediately claustrophobic. The service from the staff is friendly and helpful, with little gestures like joking by the pool and assistance to the carpark. The dining experience was very good, offering a wide selection of hot and cold items in the morning. The facilities are kept well and provide a comfortable experience overall.
I was lucky to get a large room with 2 sets of doors leading to a huge terrace overlooking the Sea; nothing like having the waves serenade you to sleep at night. The rooms had a nice balcony and great air conditioning. However, some attention is needed, for example, SPA jets, handrail on outside steps, noise from staff quarters, and possible water accumulation near Bath.
