Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience for me. The rooms were small and very outdated, which was not very comfortable, but the balcony overlooking the water and town was absolutely incredible. The service was friendly and helpful in general, but there were some moments when it felt like they were not as customer-oriented. The location of the hotel is hands down the best in Monterosso, offering perfect views of the city and port. The dining was what I would expect for a hotel in this price range, with a good selection. Overall, the stay had its ups and downs.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were a bit of a letdown, feeling like a dungeon despite a beautiful balcony overlooking the Sea and port of Mont Rosso. On the bright side, the service was exceptional, especially in catering to my dietary needs. The location was unbeatable, offering privacy away from the tourist crowds in the town. Dining was enjoyable, with a fabulous variety of food. Overall, a place with ups and downs for a stay in Monterosso al Mare.
Despite being a bit pricey at 540 euros per night for a suite, I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The room, although a touch small, had a beautiful terrace with an amazing view of the harbor and the sea. The service was extremely friendly, informative, and accommodating, making me feel right at home in this charming seaside village. The location was truly magnificent, offering stunning views from the tranquil terrace high above the beach; a perfect oasis away from the tourist crowds. While the dining experience was average and could have had more variety, the facilities were in good condition.
The hotel offers a spectacular breakfast overlooking the sea with servers in black ties and vests right outside our room. The room was clean and had a small balcony for one person, with great air conditioning. However, the dining experience was only average with stale bread. The location high above the Ligurian Sea at Monterosso, Cinque Terre is amazing for hikers and those seeking tranquility.
My stay at the hotel was simply amazing. The beautiful room with a fantastic balcony overlooking the Sea and port of Mont Rosso was a highlight, providing simple yet well-appointed decor and stunning sea views. The king bed was comfortable, and the small bath added a cozy touch to the room. The only downside was the limited dining options which did not meet our preferences, but overall, the experience was truly memorable.
Staying at Porto Roca was a mixed experience. The room with a king bed was beautiful with a fantastic balcony overlooking the Sea and port of Mont Rosso, but the rooms were too basic and dated to justify the price. On the bright side, the spectacular breakfast with servers in black ties and vests offered an amazing view of the sea.
The hotel's location is outstanding, with magnificent views and easy access to the trail to Vernazza. The rooms are really dated, with a grim bathroom and no view, which my wife found immediately claustrophobic. The service from the staff is friendly and helpful, with little gestures like joking by the pool and assistance to the carpark. The dining experience was very good, offering a wide selection of hot and cold items in the morning. The facilities are kept well and provide a comfortable experience overall.
I was lucky to get a large room with 2 sets of doors leading to a huge terrace overlooking the Sea; nothing like having the waves serenade you to sleep at night. The rooms had a nice balcony and great air conditioning. However, some attention is needed, for example, SPA jets, handrail on outside steps, noise from staff quarters, and possible water accumulation near Bath.
